Software Business Development Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for highly skilled, passionate, energetic, self-motivated and result-oriented candidate who can actively contribute and take ownership for software sales.The candidate comes with strong rolodex, establish strong relationships with the clients and open doors for the new opportunities for software solutions.


  • Must have demonstrated ability and maturity to sell software services & products
  • Set goals and develop plans for business and revenue growth
  • Research prospective accounts for software solutions
  • Create the go to market plan for the identified accounts and industry
  • Build relationships with senior executives, including C Level executives
  • Cultivate, generate & grow customer relationships for new accounts
  • Drive and lead customer relationships into business growth
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by working closely with relevant stakeholders
  • Manage sales campaigns to ensure all opportunities are uncovered
  • Pursue leads and move them through the sales cycle
  • Craft software solutions (along with presales teams) and present proposals on potential clients needs
  • Develop quotes and proposals for prospective clients
  • Handle in-depth knowledge of products and technologies, competitors and market conditions

Required Skillset

  • Required experience in software business development role selling software services & products  
  • Understanding of various software technologies and platforms in order to strategize & craft solutions (along with presales teams) to match customer needs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Hunger, determination and an appetite for self-learning
  • Demonstrating resilience in challenging situations
